### Summary

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is surrounding area (defined as Beauregard, Rapides, Sabine and Vernon parishes.). (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
This position is located at DMFWR/Business Operation Division facilities on Fort Polk.
Per the Ft. Polk NAF NAIL Collective Bargaining Agreement Article 20/Section 3b, When Flexible employees work for a period of 180 consecutive days averaging twenty (20) hours or more a week, the employee should be converted to Regular Part-Time.

### Responsibilities
* Takes orders from patrons for food and beverages.
* Ensures customers are satisfied in service provided and takes action to correct any problems.
* Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items
* Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs.
* Stands and walks for long periods. The work requires the use of both arms, hands, and legs, and involves prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and light lifting.
* Continually lifts and carries items weighing less than 10 pounds. May carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.

### Conditions of Employment
